  1. In Trap 5, I’m wondering what to do after 5.c4?

  2. This is one of the best videos in chess history!!!

  3. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  4. 8:06 interesting how this position is very similar to one of the lines in the Russeau Gambit video, same attacking idea.

  5. You are going to be #1 in the world someday dear sir Igor ❤

  6. U guys watch traps to win I watch traps to avoid losing

  7. Hello! How is 1. d4 d5 2. e3 called and what to do then?

  8. Bullshit. My opponents NEVER ever plays like that

  9. Some great moves to try and remember 😂

  10. Igor,These traps are absolutely brilliant. Thank you for

  11. At the last move white can give you check mate without taking your knight 11:39

  12. 8:22 instead of d6, isnt Nh4 just win the game?

  13. Igor, could you please produce a guide to the benoni defense? Theres no good one out there.

  14. None of these lines are working in current meta, because 2nd move of White is Nf3 after d4. Nobody goes c4 because of Albin Counter-Gambit and other your tricks.

  15. The first one can be easily refuted by white if they play e4 after black plays dxc4. .It just happened to me.

  17. Hello idol from Bunga Cabucgayan Biliran Philippines

  18. Another excellent video!

  19. I just play the Englund gambit 😂

  20. Great video lesson as always…bravo💪👏

  21. When c6 in queens gambit is accepted,it transposes to slav defense 3) d into c4 line

  22. but Smirnov, i thought in queen;s gambit, 3. e4 was the main line for white….
i prepared 2 variations before for the queen's gambit (as white)
    A) 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e4 Nf6 4.e5 Nd5 5.Bxc4 Nb6 6.Bd3 Nc6 7.Be3 Nb4 8.Be4 f5 9.a3 N4d5 10.Bxd5 Nxd5 11.Ne2 Be6 12.O-O c6 13.Nbc3 g6 14.Qd2
    B) 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e4 e5 4.Nf3 exd4 5.Bxc4 Nc6 6.O-O Be6 7.Bxe6 fxe6 8.Qb3 Qd7 9.Qxb7 Rb8 10.Qa6 Nf6 11.Nbd2 Bd6 12.b3 O-O 13.Ba3
Both are with 3.e4 and not 3.e3
Do u think it's is urgent for me to learn those as well, or i should just learn as i go?
    I'm 1200 rapid, if u are wondering..

  23. Igor please make a video on how to brutally punish this weird Scandinavian Defense opening which I get tons of times:

    1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Qxd5 3. Nc3 Qe6+

  24. Love the new camera and lighting!

As white I only play the wild horse gambit now youve tainted me igor

  25. 3:04 I think it's a bit odd to recommend 1. d4 c5 as a "trap." Anyone familiar with the benoni defense will play 2. d5 and after that you just have to know how to play the benoni, which isn't a particularly trappy opening, and if you don't know it well, you will struggle a ton because of white's central space. Also, as someone who's played 1. d4 c5 a ton (I prefer it to the 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5… move order because it more or less avoids the london system), I don't think I've ever gotten anyone with the qga trap. I think people see the resemblance to the qga and think twice before trying to hold on to the pawn like that. In my experience people tend to just give the pawn straight back when they accept it.

  26. When I play the owens as white after 3…e6 I just stop and play 4.a3 and I feel my opponents heart drop lol

  27. I like "to pretend you wanna do something" , also when "your opponent happily plays a move", which always makes them feel sad afterward 😭

  28. Most excellent video. I will rewatch this a few times.

  29. Yeahhh babyyy!!! Ive been waiting for this!!! Lesgooooooo

  30. Every video you make just amazes me.

  31. I posted an interesting video about 5 pictures with a creepy story, I'm just getting started, a little support would mean a lot! 💙

  32. Did it again, watched this played a game, I was white and won👍

  33. Love this video as a 1. d4 player so I feel more ready at the board. Could you possibly do a video on the Hedgehog Defense setup? I see very little content on YouTube on it and I've seen many strong GMs play it and would like to learn more.

  34. So what should a Queen's Gambit player plan on doing after Black's … Be6?

  35. Hi Igor. Have you thought about lessons for parents to learn their children in the age from 8 years old? Basics how to move pieces etc you can skip 🙂

  36. Thank you Igor always a pleasure to see your tricks!I wish if you can share somes tricks to beat the opponents around 2000 i cannot do this easily and i am block to 1800 around on lichess, how i can reach the 2000 level in chess?Thank you again!
