On my 11th Birthday, I learnt about Noah’s Ark Trap from a friend. Today, on my birthday, I thought of sharing this with you all. It’s a cool little chess opening trick in the Ruy Lopez to capture the bishop & gain a match winning advantage early on in the game.

  48. Happy birthday chess talk. This may be a silly question but what if the bishop takes the knight instead of moving behind, we lose a pawn don't we? How can we counter that? I always get people who play Roy Lopez against me but I don't know how to counter attack that opening. Can you please tell me what is the idea at that point
