The Italian game nowadays is one of the absolute most popular opening choices played from beginner level right up to the best players in the world. Therefore, it is a very good opening to familiarize yourself with. 1. If you teach on board then it is better to understand..anyway overall is good..❤

  2. the problem I have with these videos are they focus too much on him. a quick glance at the board, and then back to him. please focus on the board more. other than that issue, they are instructive.

  3. Please make some videos on Vienna Game variations. Thanks.

  4. In Napoli Where Chess is King / When meets / here's what they singWhen the Move Hits Your Line & you Castle Move Five That's A-BoringWhen the Board seems to Quiver at the sight of Fried Liver That's A-BoringClocks will ring dinga linga ling tinga linga ling & you'll sing Guioco Piano

  9. Thank you so much these videos are great, very clear and easy to understand thanks thansk thanksss

  10. Great class, thanks, very clear. Please note that the letter i after g in Italian is not pronounced but is used to make the g soft and be read like g in gesture because without it the g would be hard and read as g in goal. It should be juoko not j-ee-uoko. See the prononciation on google translate for an example.
ETA: This is the most clear, organised lesson on the italian I have seen on yt.

  15. Why do I find this guy in litterally EVERY high quality opening video? The four pillars of fantastic opening youtubers: Hanging pawns, Alex Astenah, Daniel Naroditsiky (his counters to danish, englund and kings gambit), and Gothamchess with all of his free opening vids (honorable mention Remote chess academy although I havent had that much success with his opening cause he sometimes wastes time on lined I will never face.)

  18. The explanation is clear and useful, but the chessboard is not very clear. If you used virtual chess as is done in most videos, it would have been better.
