I used a pretty nice opening trap against the fried liver when I was below 1000. When working, it ends in a nice smothered mate in 10 moves.
It goes like this: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nd4 6. d6 Qxd6 7. Nxf7 Qc6 8. Nxh8 Qxg2 9. Rf1 Qe4+ 10. Be2 Nf3# 0-1

I have actually gotten that 2nd trap before but with the move order: e4, e5, nf3, d6, d4, exd4, c3, dxc3, bc5, h6 and bxf7

For the second trap you could've just played 2.Nf3 instead and hope for a philidor, and in case that happens then play bc4

Traxlar gambit is pretty decent opening. Bxf7+ is the best move because Nxf7 lead to white have to remember 15 only moves to get +1 advantages else they lose. for me it's 10/10 for beginners, but in my level. It's just too risky (I'm 2000)
