Here's my opinion on the Budapest gambit. It's no good. It's one of the easist openings to learn, and one can learn a few good lessons in learning it, but below 1600 white rarely plays the moves that leads to it and when white does push e5 and c4, he can easily get a better position if he is familiar with the opening. So players at 1900+ will usually get the advantage. It's worth looking at but not worth trying to specialize in that opening. The Albin Counter Gambit is better.
