This trick is popularly known as the Tennison Gambit. A gambit is basically a chess opening strategy in which a player sacrifices his material of lesser value, like a pawn, with the hope of achieving an advantageous position. It’s like a chess trick to fool your opponent. The Tennison Gambit is a popular response to the Scandinavian Defense. These opening moves will definitely surprise your opponent.   1. This is awesome but maybe flawed because after White Knight's first move in this Gambit what if Black Pawn immediately attacks that particular Knight from F7 to F6? Then you would think White Queen Checks from D1 to H5, Black reply.. push up Pawn from D7 to D6 attacking Queen, now Black has two pieces to choose from. No?

  2. Sir i think there was a technical problem in the video. What was being displayed on the screen did not line up with what you were saying and that really confused me a lot.

  3. I must have tried this gambit at least 50 times over the last few months and not once has my opponent fallen for it. Bishop to D3 is the furthest it gets. No half-decent player is falling for moving their pawn to H6 by that point. Nice in theory but pretty useless in reality.

  4. My opponent used this trick against me a few days ago 😅 but I still managed to give him a tough time but eventually I lost. I wish I would have seen this video a few days ago when it first appeared on my home screen 😭
