  1. Thank you Igor, love this video! Used the last variation to crush some unsuspecting opponent- he got a bishop and almost got a rook, but couldn't save his king. I'm playing black. Also love your Blackmar Diemer gambit video.
    1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Nf6 3. c4 e6 4. dxe6 Bxe6 5. Be2 Bc5 6. Bf3 Bxc4 7. Bxb7 Bxf2+

    8. Kxf2 Qd4+ 9. Ke1 Ng4 10. Nh3 Qe5+ 0-1

  2. Many times I get to having the qe5, then they always go for pf4 making me retrieve. Could you cover that option please?

  3. you are the best teacher of chess. from nepal

  4. Great video as usual! What happens if white defends the position at 6:00 by moving Qa4+? After I defend with knight c6 it seems the position might be vulnerable for black if white keeps pushing the pawns in the middle or am I missing things?

I am learning so much from your videos! Once more, Thank you!!

  5. i played this opening recently, i had similar position till Nd5, then the oppponent played bishop to c4, what should i do in this position ?

  6. Isn't white's second move Q-H5 90% of the time???

  7. why wouldn't white just putn u in check with his qween and take the bkack bishop

  8. For the first scenario-White should've played Be3 at some point, preferably instead of Nf3, to avoid the pin. It wasn't too late to play it, but c3 basically sealed white's fate.

2nd scenario-Key is to avoid willfully entering into the knight pin. Would be best to play Bd2. There's nothing wrong with winning that extra pawn.

  9. What is next move after we play bishop b4 & opponent play bishop d2

  10. 138k views and only 2.8k likes? You all know you're liking those checkmates so like this mans videos

  11. 1:58 i always find my opponent castle here, is there any sort of attack i can do from here?

  12. Decided to try it, I was so excited – lost because the opponent went pawn c4 and then completely different game

  14. I play this tehnic, but it work 1 or 3 time, then tbe oponents catch up the trick

  15. Without doubt Igor is the bomb of Chess tips & strategies man! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘

  16. Igor, thank you for this video. This is perfect timing. I have been thinking about playing nf6 on Black's 2nd move. After watching this video, I will definitely try it.
As White playing against the Scandi, I have always been uncomfortable when Black plays nf6 on their 2nd move.

  17. What opening should I use when playing against low rated, like me, opponents, that use an engine to play lights out master chess?

  18. You are the best chess teacher on YouTube.

Hopefully i gain enough ELO before you get popular and everyone knows my tricks ๐Ÿ˜‚

  19. Almost every time my queen goes to d5 for a pawn capture (regardless of opening), opponents will play Pawn C4. How do I punish this?

  20. I saw Fischer play c4 as white but against e6 (or c6) he ignored it and played d4 and then after exd5 he ignored it again and played Nc3 for a nice setup as white like queen pawn games

  21. It seems this only works if they take the pawn gambit on move 1.

  22. The only issue with that Igor is could have developed the queen to a4 check to the king and take the Bishop!

  23. It's true that I can't draw my games to the openings you show 90%+ of the time. Let alone winning!

  24. Your scandinavian videos are my absolute favorite!!!

  25. Ah this is one of my favourite opening but I was relying on the pawn near the queen. This seems cool I'll definitely try it out!

  26. 8:04 what if my opponent plays pawn a3 forcing me to withdraw my bishop?

  27. What program do I need to view stockfish ratings for a move as you show us? Is it for paying customers of Lichess?

  28. My response to the Scandinavian is the Blackmar Diemer Gambit…. works against up to 2000Elo

  29. I like the way you explained same Mato jelic

  30. You keep leaving things out. We're C players here, you can't just say "and you win his Q" when it costs us R+B. The pawns are even and he has the bishop pair. Yes, we're ahead in development, but isn't that less important now that so much material is off? See your final little thing at 9:00. I would agree that Black is "probably" ahead but it's not automatic.

  31. What if they go pH3 to counter the bishop instead of bE2 in the beginning? (1:45)
