Lichess database shows a game from 2008 where this was played so it`s not new at all.
I just tried something like this. It was very fun and I won very quickly (1000ish ELO)
Leela is like, new move? I learned this 3 years ago. You have had access to this game for hundreds of years. Pick it up people.
Babe wake up! New opening just dropped
The Mommy Gambit 🥛
Nimzo-Indian, delayed grob variation
Such great opening
Omg it's the pipi guy
will be fun seeing this in GTE maybe xD
LOL someone played this way in a guess the Elo video and you called them an idiot, and now you're marketing off of it acting like you discovered it. You're a clown
And just so yall know, no he won't pin this because he doesn't wanna get exposed. Don't be surprised if he deletes this
I try this for the first time, hyped, and my opponent goes for a fucking BENONI
I think I did this when I was a 1200 rated player 🙂
Hey Levy im recovering from nose surgery and these videos always brighten my day and it's really helping now. Thank you
No one going to mention Levy's lamp is 1700? That's one high rated lamp
5:36 Are you kidding ??? What the ** are you talking about man ?
Cool
PS: I have a duck video, a chicken video, a video where i am begging for money on Twitter, a walking video… Also a patreon
Levy: “I’d be shocked if you don’t win 80% of your games playing this.”
Me, a 600 elo: “you underestimate my power”
Very interesting! Levy once again demonstrates his versatility moving from Tata Steel recaps to putting on his teaching hat for this episode. As an 800, I worry this new weapon will only allow me to shoot myself in the foot in a new way but who knows!! Thanks for a new idea and this super instructional content!
The Shak Attack on the board.
Fun video! Love it
I’m a 1100 rated player so take what I da with a grain of salt but can’t you counter that opening by black castling queen side?
Here's a lesson on how to say "bellahcene" since you almost revived my granpa with whatever you said:
1 arabic name, or all names idk, are divided into part
2 to say a arabic name, or any other name idrk either, you need to be patient with it, dont go all in
3 you might want to learn all the letter that are represented by "h" (basically the entire arabic alphabet" to not create any of going boom boom
And finally, the way to say "bellahcene" is not "bella-hcena", its "bel-lah-cene"
Could you do a video on the English and the English defense?
This looks like a a fun, awesome opening option, on my level this probably very double edged, however for my Elo probably every opening is 😀
Привет, Леви. Отличное видео. Можешь в след. раз сделать видео про более необычный гамбит. Смотрю большинство твоих разборов.
I had used g4 in a lot of my games but in late position
I always wanted a queen side castle opening that was actually this good!
Hoodie Gambit. 😁👍
Love how levy picked on an under 2000 for this vid because he knows he'd get destroyed by anyone close to him without his prep
LOL thought for sure this was a sarcastic title for a new Guess the ELO ep
This should be called The Shakh Attack!
I personally like chess because even it is played the same for soo looooong. there is always something new
I love lamp.
Chess needs to act like European football. A win is three points, a draw is one point. If everything was like that, we would see far less draws. I guarantee you that if in football, a win is two points and a draw is one (or 1 vs 0.5) then clubs would just stop trying in certain games.
I'll play this in 3-4 weeks after everyone stops playing it. Lol
very thanks sir'
As someone who enjoys lobster bisque quite thoroughly, I can say with certainty that I will attempt this in my games.
Is it just me or did levy call knights, bishops alot this game
I like how he assults me multiple times in this video
Grob attack is the best opening. Change my mind.
this opening forces all of blacks pieces into retirement
It’s amazing how after thousands of years and the introduction of machine learning that chess is still evolving even in the opening moves
Really liked this video, particularly watching you analyze post-game and learn from what you didn't know. Obviously new ideas this early in the opening don't happen often, but I could see a successful series in which you play from a "prep deficit" by playing lines you don't know well and/or letting subscribers know what's coming. It'd be interesting to see you play in more sub-optimal settings and then learn along with you after the game.
Hey Levi, i know you cant read every comment but i was wondering what your thoughts are on this: A perfect game played by bots with white, if it ever will be found, where there is no chance for black winning.. do you think a game like that would follow human opening theory ? I understand the benifits of fighting for the center and developing your pieces but somehow i think it would be completely different from what we think is good.
g4 is the new h4
Don't argue with stupid people, they will drag you to their level and beat you with experience
I know Magnus can be hard. But I never Lost to him. So maybe im the true shadow champ. LOL
For a small investment of one pawn you can obtain a winning position and become financially independant!
Don't hesitate and miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – sacrifice your pawn today!
Become your own boss and make your dreams come true!
Oh my god, the pipi gambit.
