  1. 14:14 After blacks bishop takes the c4 pawn, if black takes the bishop and the queen recaptures, because of the captured d5 pawn white is not losing on material, but on position instead. To all of those who asked that question!

  2. In actual games not a single of your traps is useful…..😅

  3. This was a great video!
Thank you for making it! ^~^

  4. These were some amazing chess moves. Thanks man! Here's to winning many more games in a cool way!

  5. In minut 15:07 isn’t black to move with pawn to a6? And what to do next if his does that? Thanks a lot for your reply.

  6. I feel like putting "2 MILLION VIEWS" in the thumbnail is having the opposite intended effect that what was originally intended

  7. I really appreciate your instructive videos and demeanor in your presentations. You are. GREAT INSTRUCTOR. THANK YOU.

  8. The knight can be such a deadly op piece in the early stages if your opponent isnt tricky

  9. I wish the trap and gambit terminology is much clearer! Say 'White (or black) sets up trap for Black (or white) with a …etc. instead of using words like you, he etc.
Many times I play the lesson at .5x or .25x speed after playing at normal speed first, and am not able to remember who erred! Even a a small statement like 'white (or black) makes an aggressive (unwise) attack (positional ) move with…etc.
Hope it is alright to request such phraseology!

  10. Who moves a single pawn down the middle? I don't think there's any bait to lure one pawn on it's own aside from some stiff drinks.

  11. good video, I started making videos about chess puzzles to help people! thank you for the tips

  12. 11:09 why does the Knight has to go back? Why not move Kh4? Later you could place Kf5 to check and take the queen.

  13. Hello Igor is it possible to get to Masters level by studying your courses

  14. Wow amazaing a lesson by Igor Smirnov 😎😎😎

  15. ALWAYS analyze it yourself with stockfish. Because for example in 3rd trap opponent may take pawn with bishop, check. What you gonna do?
Look at lines when opponent plays best moves, not only suggested by whoever.

  16. I'm starting to study chess, and I have some trouble sometimes understanding a few things, one of them being right on the beginning of the video, at 3:20, when he says "and you won the game". I've seen other videos using the same expression, even tho they are in the very beginning of the game, they only captured 1 or 2 pieces, and they don't have a particularly amazing position on the board. Why do they say "won the game"?

  17. A few more of the top of my head :

Legal's Mate, the stem game of which ran
    1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 d6 3 Bc4 Bg4?! 4 Nc3 g6? 5 Nxe5 Bxd1?? 6 Bxf7+ Ke7 7 Nd5#
and the theme of which can be reproduced in several slightly different contexts with both colors

    Queen's Gambit Accepted
    1 d4 d5 2 c4 dc 3 e3 b5?! 4 a4 c6? 5 ab cb?? 6 Qf3 and other variations on the same theme

In the Morra Gambit, lots of early traps with White but also a couple with Black
    1 e4 c5 2 d4 cd 3 Nf3 e5?! 4 Nxe5?? Qa5+
    Siberian Trap 1 e4 c5 2 d4 cd 3 c3 dc 4 Nxc3 Nc6 5 Nf3 e6 6 Bc4 Qc7 7 0-0 Nf6 8 Qe2 Ng4 9 h3?? Nd4, a theme that can also occur in mainline Open Sicilians

    Deferred From Gambit
    1f4 d6 2 Nf3 e5 3 fe g5 4 ed g4 5 dc Qxc7 6 Nd4 Bd6 7 Nb5?? Bg3+

  18. i need an agressive op oening against the 2 knight opening

  19. since when if u grab the knight u won the game? you are teaching some new rules

  20. best video ever!
they all keep falling for it 😀

  21. Bishop takes f7 on 3rd trap leads to very sharp game

  22. @6:18 you are just "hoping" for white to play Nxf7 but the correct move is Bxf7+

  23. on the first one you can also take the knight if the king doesn't move

  24. oh god i had fun killing those 1500 rated fried liver players with that trap, thank you so much

  25. one also interesting opening trap is on benko gambit but this video don't have it but anyway nice traps!

  26. The Blackburne gambit is a terrible position for black after C3 or Nxd4

  27. Please use some more brilliant move
